What Version of WeCare am I using?OverviewThe WeCare System is composed of a number of parts;
As of WeCare 2009 each of these parts can be upgraded and changed to allow greater flexibility in responding to a variety of Facility and Government agency needs and requests.
Every part of the WeCare System has a version number. This should not be confused with the overall WeCare System name.
WeCare System NameEach year in September, the WeCare System Name changes to reflect the upcoming year. This allows customers to have a general idea on which version of the WeCare System they are using. For example in September 2009, the system name is changed to WeCare 2010.
WeCare Version NumberEach part of the WeCare System has a four (4) part version number. If a change to the WeCare System requires a change in more than one part of the WeCare System, this results in a Major or Minor change. If a change to only one part of the WeCare System is required, this results in a Small or Build change.
WeCare DatabaseThe WeCare Database will only report it’s version to the WeCare Care and Accreditation Manager. You cannot get the version number directly from the WeCare Database. WeCare Data Exchange (WDX)Open a web browser and enter the following address: http://<IPaddress>:<port>/WDX2/WDX2.aspx? Where;
Note: WDX must be in CAPITALS The return message will be something like this; __ERR__Missing Device Id v4.1.0 FB 100830 __END__
WeCare Care and Accreditation ManagerOpen the Help -> About menu. It will look similar to this;
Where the WeCare CAM is the version of the Care and Accreditation Manager and the WeCare Database Version is the version of the WeCare Database. WeCare Point of Care for WindowsOpen the Help -> About menu. It will look similar to this;
WeCare Point of Care for Windows MobileThe version number is displayed on the Main Login screen
It is located in the bottom right hand corner WeCare Point of Care for PalmTap on WeCare -> About at the top of the screen. It will look similar to this;
